We saw the Sony Xperia Tablet Z2 leaking out yesterday in a very convincing looking press image. A new leak from today has shed more light on the design and the size of this tablet accompanied by a flurry of images. This new leak coming from @gadgetleaks on Twitter sheds light on the dimensions and the weight of the tablet as well. It is said that the LTE variant of the tablet will weigh 436 grams while the Wi-Fi only variant will weigh 426 grams, which is relatively light weight for a large sized tablet.
The tablet is said to be 266mm wide and 172mm in length with the thickness just 6.4mm, so it’s clear that Sony isn’t making any compromises as far as looks are concerned. The Xperia Tablet Z2 is also expected to be IP58 certified which means it will be water and dust resistant. The leak from yesterday shed light on the hardware specs of the tablet which revealed a 10.1 inch 1080p display, a Snapdragon 800 chipset, 3GB of RAM and Android 4.4 KitKat, so the Xperia Tablet Z2 sounds like a more than capable Android tablet.
