The LG G Pad 8.3 is a decent tablet, but not quite popular in the U.S. due to the steep pricing. Although yesterday’s deal from Newegg tried to change that, it is still what many would consider an expensive tablet. The tablet has now been confirmed to be making its way to Verizon’s shelves with the leak of press shots courtesy of Evleaks on Twitter.
The tablet carries Verizon’s 4G LTE bands as is evident from the pictures and could be one of the hottest budget range tablets to look forward to. Given Verizon’s hold on the American telecom industry, we expect the tablet to make some noise when it breaks cover. The carrier recently unveiled the 2013 Nexus 7 after a very long delay, so the arrival of the G Pad 8.3 will provide excellent choices for potential customers.
The carrier also sells its self-branded Ellipsis 7 tablet, which is priced under $150 with a contract or $250 without one. We should expect the LG G Pad 8.3 to be announced by the carrier in the coming weeks.
