A new HTC smartphone has just leaked out in a press render and it’s not the M8 for a change. This smartphone posing in a gorgeous white avatar will reportedly be known as the Desire 8 and will feature a design similar to other HTC smartphones from the past year, but without the capacitive buttons below the display.
The smartphone will apparently feature a 5.5 inch display (resolution unknown) and a 13MP camera accompanied by a 5MP front facing shooter. There’s no word on other aspects of the smartphone, but it is hoped that it will be equally impressive. The smartphone is also believed to feature dual SIM standby, making it an immediate choice for Asian and European markets.
Hopefully, the Taiwanese manufacturer will reveal more about the smartphone in the coming weeks as we head towards the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona. The HTC M8 is rumored for a late March announcement, so the Desire 8 could well be the first HTC smartphone of the year.
