The Samsung Galaxy S5 is expected to be announced in a couple of weeks from now in Barcelona. While we have enough clarity on the hardware specs sheet of the smartphone, not much was known as far as size and dimensions were concerned. But a new leaked render has now solved that part of the puzzle as well with information available on its length, width as well as thickness.
If this rendering accessed by SonnyDickson.com is to be believed, the Galaxy S5 will be 141.7 mm in length, 72.5 mm in width and 5.2 mm in thickness. Going by these dimensions, the Galaxy S5 could be substantially taller, broader and slimmer than the Galaxy S4. But as this is not coming straight from Samsung, we will take it with a grain of salt until Samsung makes the big reveal in two weeks from now.
The Galaxy S5 is rumored to sport a 5.25 inch QHD display in place of the 5 inch 1080p panel used with the Galaxy S4 last year, so the size difference is much expected. The smartphone is also rumored to feature Exynos 6 and Snapdragon 805 chipset variants, a 16MP camera, 3GB of RAM, up to 128GB of internal storage and Android 4.4 KitKat with the new TouchWiz UI that we’ve heard so much of.
