With manufacturers beginning to get into MWC mode, we can expect plenty of big and small names to make their presence known before the event. One of them is Taiwanese manufacturer Acer, which has just posted a teaser for its upcoming smartphone. The company took to Google+ to post the teaser and gave away very little information on what to expect from this mystery smartphone. By the looks of it though, it seems like the manufacturer will have a high end flagship as well as a few midrange offerings to show off. Acer mentions that this new smartphone will join its popular Liquid range of smartphones.
The teaser reveals an odd looking sensor right beneath the camera, which could be very interesting to check out next week. We’re guessing it’s a fingerprint scanner or an IR blaster for multimedia support, so Acer’s event next week is certainly going to be closely observed. Manufacturers like Sony, Samsung and LG are also expected to take center stage next week when the MWC kicks off, so we’ll make sure you get all the information on device announcements here on The Droid Guy.
