Evleaks has claimed that the LG G Pad 8.3 tablet will soon make its way to Verizon Wireless. The information was given away via Twitter as the source usually does but sadly there was no further information. Usually, leaks coming from Evleaks is bundled with a leaked press image or something of that sort, but there was nothing shown off here. But since we already know quite a lot about the G Pad 8.3, it doesn’t matter much.
The tablet was launched in a Google Play avatar recently, so users have an alternative to choose from if they’re not fans of the LG user interface. We are guessing Verizon will make the tablet official in the coming days or maybe during the MWC event next month. The G Pad 8.3 is a more than capable tablet from a major manufacturer and features a very decent hardware specs sheet as well.
The tablet comes with an 8.3 inch 1920 x 1200 resolution display, a quad core 1.7 GHz Snapdragon 600 chipset, 2GB of RAM, 16GB of storage (expandable), a 5MP camera with a 1.3MP front camera, a 4,600 mAh battery and Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean. We can expect the Verizon variant to feature 4G LTE support as well.
