A new LG tablet carrying Verizon’s 4G LTE bands has made its way to the FCC hinting at an imminent release. It goes without saying that this tablet is a variant of the LG G Pad 8.3 which is the only tablet on offer from LG at the moment. The tablet mentioned in the FCC listing has the model number VK810 and is of a similar size as the LG G Pad 8.3, so it’s safe to assume that a Verizon flavored G Pad 8.3 is on its way. Since this is only an FCC listing, the actual launch details aren’t available yet.
It is possible that the tablet would be an exclusive to Verizon in the U.S. since no other carrier variant has been spotted yet. The MWC next month should be an ideal time for the announcement of this tablet, so we will wait until then for more information. The LG G Pad 8.3 features an 8.3 inch 1920 x 1200 resolution display, a quad core 1.7 GHz Snapdragon 600 SoC, a 5MP camera on the back, 2GB of RAM, Android 4.2 (with a KitKat update on the horizon) and a 4,600 mAh battery.
