With the Sprint LG G Flex going up for pre-order recently, it was only a matter of time until other carriers followed suit. The smartphone with a unique curved OLED display was expected to arrive on Sprint, T-Mobile and AT&T in the U.S. With the Sprint variant already on its way, it’s now the T-Mobile variant which has gone public. However, it’s only a pre-registration at this point and not an actual pre-order or availability. Interested customers can register to be notified when the device becomes available through the Uncarrier, but until then this is all the carrier has for us. We expect T-Mobile to make up for the delay with its barrage of purchasing options including monthly installment plans which eases the worry of paying a hefty off contract fees upfront.
The LG G Flex on T-Mobile should carry all the compatible GSM LTE bands and will most likely share the rest of the specs with its global variant. The smartphone houses a 6 inch curved OLED display with a resolution of 1280 x 720, a 13MP camera, 2GB of RAM, a 2.3 GHz Snapdragon 800 SoC, Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean, 32GB of internal storage (no microSD expansion) and a 3,500 mAh battery. The smartphone also comes with a self healing back cover.
