The Nokia Normandy isn’t a secret anymore as the smartphone has already been leaked in several convincing press shots over the last few weeks. Today, a new leak from France has revealed a few more images of the smartphone. The handset looks akin to the Asha series of smartphones that have been launched by Nokia.
Leaks in the past have revealed a specs sheet similar to the Lumia 520 which is nothing to write home about. This means we can expect a 4 inch 480 x 800 resolution display, 4GB of storage with a microSD card slot, 512MB of RAM, a 5MP camera and possibly Android 4.4 KitKat. The Normandy or the Nokia X as it is known today, is possibly one of the worst kept secrets by the company. Innumerable leaks have told us what to expect from this budget Android smartphone, which was initially rumored to be shelved. However, it is now clear that the smartphone does exist after all and could well be announced during Nokia’s MWC event next month.
