A new leak has revealed the existence of yet another Sony smartphone codenamed the Sirius. The leak comes courtesy of Evleaks which gave away information on its hardware. According to the renowned Twitter source, the smartphone will break cover during next month’s Mobile World Congress in Barcelona. The hardware sheet will reportedly feature a 5.2 inch display and a slightly over clocked version of the Snapdragon 800 chip (MSM8974AB).
There are no details available on other specifications of the smartphone, but we’re guessing it will feature a camera sensor similar to the Xperia Z1. The leak doesn’t provide clarity on the display resolution either, so there’s no way to make sure if Sony will go with a standard 1080p panel or add a QHD 2K panel instead, which is what most manufacturers are doing currently. We hope to learn more about the Sony Sirius in the coming weeks as we get closer to the MWC event.
