Second iteration of the Pebble Smartwatch launching at CES?

Pebble SmartwatchMakers of the Pebble smartwatch have teased the arrival of something new during the CES event next week. The folks have issued a teaser for a dedicated event in Las Vegas this Monday, which will possibly unveil a new device. Users can even opt to watch the livestream of the event on the 6th of January through as the events unfold in Las Vegas. The CEO of Pebble Eric Migicovsky will host this event.

While there’s no clarification on what exactly will be announced during the course of the event, it is clear that this is something big. We might get to see a new range of smartwatches announced by the company as well as an upgrade to the existing Pebble smartwatch with newer colors or perhaps a much deserved price cut. The livestream begins at 11AM (PST) so make sure you tune in to catch all the action as it happens. Pebble has been one of the very few smartwatches which have succeeded in the market, so the expectations from a successor are generally going to be high.
