The Samsung Galaxy Grand Neo has been a constant visitor to the rumor mill, but today the smartphone officially makes its way to the markets beginning from Netherlands. The Galaxy Grand Neo (GT-I9060) is exactly what it sounds like, a slightly upgraded variant of the original Galaxy Grand. The specs sheet of the Galaxy Grand Neo is rather unflattering though, with nothing noteworthy on board. But since Galaxy Grand has always been a midrange budget handset, the hardware will barely matter. Samsung has priced the Galaxy Grand Neo at €260 ($354) which is quite decent for a budget handset coming from Samsung.
The Galaxy Grand Neo packs a 5.01 inch 480 x 800 resolution display, an 8MP camera on the back, a 1.2 GHz quad core CPU, 1GB of RAM, 16GB of internal storage with microSD expansion, Android 4.2 Jelly Bean and a 2,100 mAh battery. Dutch retailer Belsimpel is currently selling the Galaxy Grand Neo through its retail channels with Samsung expected to unveil the handset in more global markets.
