Russian leakster Eldar Murtazin has claimed that Samsung could postpone the launch of the Galaxy S5 smartphone to March instead of February 23 as claimed earlier. We were expecting the smartphone to break cover in March or April until a rumor sparked off by Murtazin a couple of days ago spoke of a pre-MWC launch for the new Samsung flagship. It now seems like Samsung will stick to its original plans of launching the smartphone after the MWC is concluded.
Murtazin believes that the rescheduled event will be held in London which was spoken about in an older rumor as well. There is enough buzz and hype about the Samsung Galaxy S5 which is no surprise for a Samsung flagship, but the launch date has created quite a lot of confusion already. We hope to get more clarity on the announcement date by February, but at this point, an MWC time launch seems highly unlikely.
