Rumors of a Nokia made Android smartphone code named Normandy started making the rounds in late 2013 and have still not died down unsurprisingly. According to a new tweet by @evleaks, all reports which hinted at the death of the smartphone have been greatly exaggerated. This has given fans of Nokia hope that there might be an Android smartphone to look forward to after all.
Last month, Evleaks spotted an alleged press render of the smartphone which looked a lot like one of Nokia Asha smartphones. Those reports also went on to say that the Nokia Normandy will not see the light of the day, but this new revelation has certainly sparked off the possibility of a Nokia Android smartphone yet again. Of course all this is based off a tweet sent out by Evleaks and nothing substantial has been leaked or made public as of yet. But the idea of a Nokia powered Android smartphone is certainly something to think about.
