The Wooden Moto X took quite a while to arrive officially through Moto Maker, but even when it did, Motorola only launched one variant of the Wood Moto X (Bamboo). The manufacturer has now added a couple of more wooden options for customers to choose from which includes Ebony, Teak and Walnut in addition to the already available Bamboo Moto X. This will cost an additional $25 according to Moto Maker, which is a very small price to pay considering what’s being offered by Motorola. The wooden Moto X takes slightly longer to ship as well, since it takes extra effort to make, which is understandable.
The smartphone is available for order right away, so you can head over to Moto Maker immediately to customize your favorite variant with the front panel and accent color of your choice to make it stand out from the rest of the crowd. Underneath you will still notice the same hardware configuration, so nothing’s different in that regard.
