The LG D830 has leaked on a few occasions in the past with no detailed information as of yet. We’re pegging this to be the LG G2 successor which could break cover next month, so it’s only fair that it would sport some flagship level hardware. The fact that it sports a model number very similar to the LG Nexus 5 (D820) is what’s making us come to this conclusion.
And according to a tipster cited by Phone Arena, the LG D830 will feature a 13MP camera capable of recording 2160p or 4K video as well as 120 fps slow motion video. There are still some doubts over the authenticity of these leaks as the leaks have only come in the form of User Agent Profiles or UAProfs, so there’s no concrete evidence yet.
However, the emergence of LG as a mobile superpower in the last couple of years is evidence to the fact that the company is capable of pulling off something like this. We should get a clearer picture of things as the MWC event kicks off next month in Barcelona.
