The LG G Pro 2 was rumored to be launching next month and LG has just provided confirmation of that through its official blog. Although the Korean manufacturer refrained from giving away details about the smartphone, it is clear that the smartphone will be shown off in less than a month at the MWC event in Barcelona.
From what we know so far, the smartphone could feature a 6 inch 1080p display, a Snapdragon 800 SoC, 2GB of RAM, 32GB of storage with a microSD card slot and Android 4.4 KitKat. The confirmation from LG comes at the right time as the smartphone has been long rumored to break cover in February with the LG G3 expected to break cover later in May.
LG is expected to add a fingerprint scanner with the G Pro 2 as rumors in the past have indicated, although LG hasn’t confirmed this yet. We hope to learn a lot more about the phablet through leaks in the coming weeks as LG gears up to launch the first major phablet of 2014.
