Two new HTC devices have surfaced on the Indonesian certification database Postel. The first of the smartphones is known as the D310w while the other is the HTC M8 flagship which is the successor to the HTC One. This pretty much confirms the smartphone’s arrival during the MWC next month or probably sooner, depending on HTC’s plans. The smartphone is rumored to feature a 5 inch 1080p panel, a Snapdragon 800 chip, a dual camera arrangement, 2GB of RAM and Android 4.4 KitKat. The specs sheet has caused some concern among HTC fans, mainly due to the lack of modern hardware while other manufacturers are hurrying to the get the best hardware on their devices.
The HTC D310w sounds a lot like a midrange smartphone from HTC. We’re guessing this will be added to the Desire lineup of smartphones which have sold quite well in Asia and Europe. We hope to hear more about the HTC M8 in the coming weeks as the launch date approaches.
