HTC inadvertently unveils the Desire 310

HTC Desire 310

HTC Europe has accidentally revealed the Desire 310 smartphone without any formal announcement. Perhaps HTC didn’t see it fit for a device of its caliber to get a dedicated announcement or maybe it was just an error by the manufacturer. The official page revealed a very moderate specs sheet, so there’s nothing in it to please the masses or the tech savvy. Oddly, this is one of the first HTC smartphones in recent memory to sport a MediaTek chip as HTC smartphones have traditionally come with a Qualcomm made chipset.

The Desire 310 features a 4.5 inch 854 x 480 resolution display, a 5MP camera sensor on the back, 4GB of storage with a microSD card slot, 512MB of RAM, a 1.3 GHz quad core MediaTek MT6582M SoC, Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean and a 2,000 mAh battery. Although there’s no word on the pricing yet, it is clear that this won’t go heavy on your wallets. HTC will launch the smartphone in White and Black color variants in select markets of Europe, Asia and other parts of the world.
