EA has announced the arrival of the Dungeon Keeper game for Android starting from today. This game was originally available and popularized on the desktop platform in the 1990s, so it has plenty of loyal fans out there. Although functionality wise the Dungeon Keeper game on Android isn’t the same as what most of us have seen on the PC variant, it’s certainly worthwhile to check out. EA has been kind enough to launch a North America specific app and a Rest of the World app, so that everybody around the world can access the game with immediate effect. Another bonus with the Android version is that it’s free to download since game progress is partially based on in-app purchases.
Speaking about the launch of the new game, Senior VP of EA Games Nick Earl said – “With the recent surge in the popularity of core mobile games, Dungeon Keeper joins several of EA’s other mobile titles, including Heroes of Dragon Age, to offer our gamers an immersive and strategic mobile gaming experience. We’ve reimagined this classic title and built it specifically for mobile platforms, giving longtime Dungeon Keeper fans a new way to delve into the fun of this legendary title on the go.”
