Over the weekend, we spoke about the Xperia Z2 smartphone also known as the Xperia Sirius. This was accompanied by a few images of the device along with a brief glimpse of the user interface as well. Today, courtesy of a few sources, we have a couple of more images which reveal the hardware specs as well as other aspects of the user interface of the smartphone. This new leak also reveals the alleged hardware of the smartphone which includes a 5.2 inch 1080p display, a 2.3 GHz quad core Qualcomm MSM8974AB chipset (a modified variant of the Snapdragon 800), a 20.7MP rear camera, Android 4.4 KitKat and 3GB of RAM.
The Xperia Sirius (D6503) could well be Sony’s flagship smartphone up for display at the MWC next month. Although with a slightly outdated display and a pretty common hardware, we don’t think it will impress a lot of people apart from Sony loyalists. But this appears to be a prototype at this point, so things could surely change by the time the device is ready for launch.
