One of the most highly anticipated Android smartphones is about to be released this month and right now press invites have already been sent out. Chinese company BBK is making its press invites as special as the Vivo Xplay 3S by sending out physical invitations in the form of Augmenter Reality (AR) cards instead of just an email.
Those invited to the launching event this coming December 18 got AR cards that look like any other ordinary card. Everything changes though when you hold it under an NFC equipped smartphone. An amazing 3D movie gets displayed on the screen of the device which shows a 3D house with a projector at the center of the room showing a presentation on the big screen.
If the company placed much effort in creating the invites then I can’t wait to see what work they have done on the Vivo Xplay 3S.
As a recap, a lot of people are eagerly anticipating the release of this device since it is going to be the world’s first QHD smartphone with a resolution of 2,560 x 1,440. Other Android manufacturers have yet to come up with models having this resolution with Samsung reportedly releasing its first 2K smartphone early next year.
