The Verizon Galaxy Note II has finally started receiving the Android 4.3 update after weeks of grueling wait. Verizon was one of the first to rollout the update to the Galaxy S4, along with Sprint but it has taken some time to get the update rolling to the 2012 flagship phablet. This comes just a couple of days after the Galaxy S III on the carrier received the update as well, so that completes Verizon’s responsibility of rolling out major updates to two Samsung flagships from last year.
The update brings a multitude of changes as expected. Since this is a phablet we can expect some new S-Pen magic to be on board along with improvements to core Samsung apps and features. Not to forget, the Galaxy Gear smartwatch is finally compatible with the phablet. Customers can expect the update to start hitting devices in the coming days, if not immediately, as this is a staged rollout.
