T-Mobile will reveal plans for Uncarrier 4.0 on January 8

T-MobileThe CEO of T-Mobile John Legere merely teased the arrival of Uncarrier 4 through his Twitter feed a couple of days ago and the rumor mill is already rife with speculation as to what it could be. While some claim it has got to do with free incoming calls while roaming, another theory claims that T-Mobile will help pay the contract termination fee (of the rival carrier) which is usually a pain for customers ending a contract early. While these theories sound a bit over the top, it’s nothing we can’t expect from a carrier like T-Mobile.

The carrier has just sent out invites for this new reveal at the CES 2014 event in early January and the invites stressed on the fact that this new plan will eliminate a customer “pain point” which Legere mentioned in his tweet yesterday as well. We might be in for a bit of surprise here as the invitation further claims – “This one you aren’t gonna believe” which makes it all the more exciting. The day is not far away now as the event is scheduled for January 8, and we’ll keep you posted on any further information on Uncarrier 4.0.
