The Android 4.3 update for the Sony Xperia ZL has just been spotted in a leak, thus confirming its imminent arrival. Sony has claimed that an update in on the cards for December so this leak has come in the right time. The update will introduce an all new UI and several other performance updates as we expect. The UI appears to be borrowed from its siblings such as the Xperia Z1 and the Xperia Z Ultra, which is great news for the users.
Since the update hasn’t officially started seeding, it’s hard to pinpoint specific features, but we’re sure the changelog will be pretty lengthy as with any Sony based update. Sony follows the tradition of rolling out updates to its older devices before newer flagships are sent the update, which is a great show of faith for its customers. Sony will rollout the Android 4.3 update to the likes of the Xperia Z, Xperia ZR, Xperia Z Ultra, Xperia Z1, Xperia SP and the Xperia Tablet Z all in December, so it’s a pretty busy month for the Japanese manufacturer. Given the delay in the rollout of the Android 4.3 update, we aren’t too optimistic about the Android 4.4 update hitting these devices anytime soon.
