We have heard about the 12.2 inch Galaxy Note tablet on a few occasions in the past and today we’ve come across a possible name of the tablet. A report claims that this mammoth Note tablet has been christened the Galaxy Note Pro by Samsung. The tablet should be one of the four tablets which were rumored to be announced in Q1 by Samsung, with the Galaxy Tab 3 Lite being one of them.
The report from Korean source further claims that this tablet will sport a similar hardware sheet as the 2014 Edition Galaxy Note 10.1 with the only difference being the bigger 9,500 mAh battery to accommodate for the bump in display size and Android 4.4 KitKat running the show by default. So that should mean the same 2560×1600 resolution LCD panel with the S-Pen stylus, a Snapdragon 800 SoC, 3GB of RAM, 32GB of internal storage and 4G LTE. There’s a lot left to be known about the tablet and we’re guessing Samsung will unravel all the mystery during the upcoming CES event or might even wait till February when the MWC kicks off. Samsung can certainly make a big splash in the tablet segment with a device like the Galaxy Note Pro and we hope to see it in the market soon.
