According to a new rumor, Samsung is going all guns blazing with the production of the upcoming Galaxy Note 3 Lite smartphone. The company reportedly estimates to manufacture around 1.5 million units of the smartphone in time for its Q1 release. Earlier last week, the smartphone’s existence was confirmed by an insider of the company and going by this report, it seems like Samsung has high hopes with it. The smartphone will reportedly be the same size as the Galaxy Note 3, but with a slightly toned down hardware specs sheet, as the name indicates.
The 5.7 inch display on the smartphone will reportedly be LCD and not an AMOLED like premium Samsung devices, and we’re guessing it will have a lower resolution as well. Further, the smartphone should pack an 8MP camera, 2GB of RAM and a quad core Qualcomm made SoC. Reports have pointed at a MWC time launch for the smartphone, which seems very likely. Pricing is going to be very crucial as it is basically a Galaxy Note 3 clone with slightly underpowered hardware.
