According to a new rumor, the Samsung Galaxy Grand Lite smartphone could be unveiled during the upcoming MWC 2014 event in February next year. This is the event which is host to numerous smartphone and tablet launches from major manufacturers like LG, HTC, Huawei and others. While Samsung usually refrains from announcing its flagship devices in combined events like these, we have seen the manufacturer launching midrange smartphones during the event before, so this could be one of those instances.
The specs sheet accessed by Sam Mobile suggests a 5 inch 480×800 resolution display, 1GB of RAM, 8GB of internal storage, a 1.2 GHz quad core SoC of unknown make, a 2,100 mAh battery, a 5MP camera on the back, dual SIM support and Android 4.3 Jelly Bean. Judging by the specs sheet, the Galaxy Grand Lite appears to be a reboot of the original Galaxy Grand launched in December last year, which is a little baffling as the successor has already been launched.
