Pebble The Pebble smartwatch has been widely popular ever since it went up on Kickstarter for crowd funding. The support offered by fans has been immensely helpful in making Pebble one of the best smartwatches available in the market. The folks at Pebble are now planning to reward buyers for their patience and support by launching a dedicated app hub for the smartwatch. Developers will be able to submit applications when the Pebble SDK 2.0 is made available by the manufacturer. The app store will go live at about the same time with categories like Sports & Fitness, Daily, Remotes, Games, Tools & Utilities and Daily.

The app store will also include several watch faces to choose from which is a major relief as downloading watch faces is quite an effort right now. This will make Pebble a more complete smartwatch as users will not have to rely on major app stores for downloadable content. The new app store as well as the Pebble SDK 2.0 should go live in a couple of months from now.
