Makers of GameStick strike a deal with Ubisoft to bring new content onto the console

GameStick Ubisoft Partnership

Makers of the Android gaming console GameStick (PlayJam) have just announced their partnership with renowned game developer Ubisoft. According to this new partnership, the GameStick will receive exclusive Ubisoft content, namely the newest of the Prince of Persia game titled The Shadow And The Flame. Ubisoft had the following to say about its partnership with PlayJam- “We have been following GameStick’s progress with keen interest since launch earlier this year. We feel this device and its target market presents an exciting opportunity to further broaden access to our games.”

There’s no word on when the game will land on the GameStick, but we can expect a release in the coming weeks, maybe before New Year’s to drive the Christmas shopping sales of the console. PlayJam is reportedly striving to get more game developers on board to increase the number of playable content on the gaming console, so we can expect some more games to be added to the roster in the coming months. The console was launched recently and can be purchased from Gamestop, Amazon as well as the official GameStick site for $79.99.
