A leaked flyer in South Korea has leaked the alleged successor of the LG Optimus G Pro phablet which broke cover earlier this year. There’s no word on when this smartphone will launch in the market, but an announcement during CES is much expected. The phablet sports a 5.5 inch 1080p display, support for LTE-A networks, 32GB of internal storage and a Snapdragon 800 chipset. We’re sure the customers will love to have a choice between the 5.2 inch G2 and the 5.5 inch GX.
The flyer also reveals the existence of a 3,410 mAh battery which is pretty decent for a phablet and of a slightly higher capacity than what we have on the LG G2. With flyers leaking out, it’s evident that a launch is right around the corner. And it doesn’t quite make sense to launch two high end phablets within a space of four months, so this could well be LG’s phablet of 2014. While the hardware is not all that different from the Optimus G Pro, it’s certainly an upgrade.
