Lenovo has quite a busy year as the company has been releasing several smartphone models. If you think that the company’s Vibe devices presented last September was the company’s last for this year then you’re wrong as two new models have just been announced.
Meet the Lenovo S930 and the Lenovo S650, two new Android smartphones that will comprise the 2013 lineup of the company. Both models are mid-range devices with decent specifications and come at affordable prices. The company is aiming these models at the budget conscious consumer who don’t want to compromise on quality.
Those who are looking for a device with a big display should consider getting this phablet. This model sports a 6 inch with a 720p display at 245 ppi. Powering the device is a 1.3 GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6852 processor with an ARM Mali-400MP GPU. There’s 1 GB of RAM and 8 GB of internal storage space which can be expanded using the microSD slot. At the back of the device is an 8 MP camera without any flash. This device is 170mm tall and weighs at 170 grams which is mainly due to its use of a 3000mAh battery.
For those who are looking for a device that’s easy to carry around yet has a large display then this 4.7 inch Android smartphone is the perfect choice. This device has a qHD (960 x 540 display and uses the same 1.3 GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6852 processor with ARM Mali-400MP GPU as the S930. There’s 1 GB of RAM and 8 GB of internal storage space which can be expanded using a microSD card. This device is 138mm tall and 8.7mm thick and weighs 126 grams. It comes with a 2000 mAh battery.
Both devices are expected to hit the market at the end of this year with the S930 priced at $427 while the S650 is priced at $366. A dual-SIM version of the S650 is also expected to be released however pricing details has not been revealed yet.
