Huawei has just unveiled the Honor 3X smartphone in China with a more than capable specs sheet and an affordable price tag. The smartphone will also be known as Glory 3X in some regions. The highlight of the handset is the true octa core 1.7 GHz MediaTek made chipset which runs all eight cores simultaneously.
The smartphone also packs a 5.5 inch 720p IPS display, a 13MP camera accompanied by a 5MP front camera, Android 4.2.2 and a 3,000 mAh battery. The smartphone should be capable of running Android 4.4 KitKat, so it is hoped that Huawei launches the smartphone with KitKat onboard. The handset will cost 1,698 Chinese Yuan or $280, which is quite cheap for a smartphone with hardware of this caliber. Availability will be limited to China and neighboring regions and we can completely rule out any likelihood of a Stateside launch as Huawei recently decided to pull out of the U.S. market. But we can expect the handset to make its way to the rest of Asia and European markets.
