There was an image of the Samsung Galaxy Note Pro tablet leaking out earlier this week which revealed very little about the device itself. But a new leak has now shed light on the specifications along with details on launch. While the launch related details aren’t specific as it only mentions an early 2014 unveiling, it’s safe to assume that Samsung will announce the new tablet during the MWC event in February.
The report originates from Korea and claims that the 12.2 inch Galaxy Note Pro will feature a display resolution of 2560 x 1600, a 2.4 GHz quad core processor (possibly Snapdragon 805), 3GB of RAM, Android 4.4 KitKat and a 9,500 mAh battery. It was long rumored that the hardware of the Galaxy Note Pro will be based on the Galaxy Note 10.1 2014 edition and it seems like those reports were spot on. Apart from the bigger display, a newer version of Android, a bigger battery and possibly a slightly upgraded chipset, the Galaxy Note Pro should be pretty much the same as the 2014 edition Galaxy Note 10.1.
