According to a new report from The Wall Street Journal, renowned German car manufacturer Audi is looking to launch a new in-car entertainment system in accordance with Google. This in-car entertainment system will reportedly run Android and will feature all of the features that we come to expect from a standard Android device (Navigation, Music as well as the wide array of Google Play apps). Although both Google and Audi refrained from confirming or denying this, it’s almost clear now that this new system will be unveiled at the CES 2014 event later next week.
According to 9 to 5 Google, Apple has reportedly struck deals with BMW, Honda, Mercedes-Benz and others. Google will look to make it big with Audi which is one of the premier car manufacturers of the world. We’re guessing this new device will be limited to Audi vehicles and won’t be available as a standalone unit. Details on this in-car entertainment system is pretty scarce right now but we hope to learn more during the course of the CES event next week.
