Samsung’s unpopular Galaxy S4 Zoom smartphone is now going for a great bargain over at Amazon. This AT&T branded camera oriented smartphone is being offered for $0.01 or 1 cent if you’re signing up with AT&T as a new customer or adding a new line with an existing account and an equally attractive $49.99 if you’re an existing AT&T user. The smartphone doesn’t offer much apart from the camera, but is still a worthwhile deal considering that there’s enough in it to please casual smartphone users. Considering that AT&T is currently selling it for $149.99 through its retail outlets, this deal is quite a bargain. If you’re looking to get it off contract though, then AT&T is probably your best bet as it costs about $70 cheaper than the price at which Amazon is offering the handset.
The smartphone features a 4.3 inch qHD display, a 16MP camera with 10x optical zoom and OIS along with a powerful Xenon flash, a 1.9MP front camera, 1.5GB of RAM, 8GB of internal storage with a microSD card slot, a dual core 1.5 GHz processor, Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean and a 2,330 mAh battery. While the camera is the highlight of the handset, the presence of other camera superphones like the Sony Xperia Z1 and the Nokia Lumia 1020 make the Galaxy S4 Zoom feel quite inadequate.
