The Vivo Xplay 3S was spotted in a fresh leak yesterday and it seems like the device doesn’t want to stay out of the news. Today, a fresh image of the smartphone showing the back portion has revealed a possible fingerprint scanner on the device much like the HTC One Max. However, this image appears to be entirely different from what we saw in the leak yesterday, so we’re not sure which one is the real deal.
While this alleged sensor isn’t visible at first glance, a closer look at the image shows a slot right beneath the camera sensor and the flash. Even though there’s no confirmation that this is a fingerprint scanner, it’s possibly safe to assume that it is going by recent trends. Alternatively, this could also be a back placed power button much like the LG G2, but we’re leaning towards the former.
The Vivo Xplay 3S is in the news for being the world’s first smartphone with a 2K display packing a resolution of 2560×1440, thus giving its 5.7 inch display, a pixel density of 515 ppi. With this being the highlight of the smartphone so far, something like a fingerprint scanner could be the icing on the cake. The smartphone is also rumored to pack a Snapdragon 800 quad core chip, a 13MP camera sensor and 3GB of RAM.
