It seems like AT&T will not enjoy exclusivity of the Moto Maker site for long as Verizon appears to be all set to get the customization tool beginning from this Monday. It was previously reported that Sprint will be getting access to the site on the same day.
This means we can expect Motorola to announce Moto Maker compatibility for the two carriers together on Monday, which is a very good sign. During the Moto X announcement, it was mentioned that while AT&T will enjoy exclusivity for the first few months, other carriers will get access to the site in the latter part of the year, and that’s exactly what’s happening now. There’s still no information as to when the wooden variants of the Moto X will be available for purchase, but we hope to have more information on this variant as the days progress.
So if you have been held back by the Moto X due to lack of customizable variants on Verizon, you will not have to wait longer. Pricing is expected to be the same as the regular Moto X.
