As expected, Google’s latest flagship Nexus smartphone is now available for purchase from T-Mobile. The carrier is selling the 16GB Nexus 5 in black for $449, or $17 per month for two years after a $41.99 downpayment. Yes, that’s quite a lot more than Google’s Play Store price, but as T-Mobile explained recently, it’s something that can’t be helped since it costs them $450 to get the device from LG, a price that will likely be applicable everywhere the device isn’t available directly from Google.
Even at $450, the Nexus 5 is the best smartphone you can currently get your hands on. It comes with the powerful Snapdragon 800 chipset, 2 gigs of RAM, an 8-megapixel camera with optical image stabilization, a beautiful 5-inch 1080p screen, and Android 4.4 KitKat, the latest and greatest version of Android, with the guarantee of quick updates in the future. Furthermore, the higher price is the only option you have at this point if you wish to get your hands on the device right away, as it is currently out of stock on Google Play.
Of course, that could soon be the case over at T-Mobile as well, so better hurry and place an order at the source link to get in before other folk gobble up all stock.
