Sprint Galaxy Note II starts getting the Android 4.3 update

Galaxy Note 2Hot on the heels of a global rollout, the Android 4.3 update for the Galaxy Note II has now hit the Sprint variant in the U.S. This much awaited update brings support for the Galaxy Gear smartwatch and plenty of other goodies, along with the customary features bundled by Google. The 4.3 update will change the software version to L900VPAMK4.

The update will be rolled out in batches and should arrive as an OTA, but don’t lose patience if it hasn’t as it should make its way to your smartphone inevitably. Alternatively, users can manually try to push the update by heading over to the settings and checking for the update.

Sprint should finish the rollout of the update in a weeks’ time, so there’s not a long time to wait after all. Sprint and Samsung will hope to sell more units of the Galaxy Gear smartwatch with most Samsung devices getting compatibility after the Android 4.3 update.
