Chinese site MyDrivers has accessed the complete specs sheet of the upcoming Huawei Glory 4 smartphone, which has been touted as the rival of Xiaomi’s Red Rice smartphone in China. There’s no information on pricing or availability yet, but it goes without saying that Huawei will price it attractively to take on the likes of Xiaomi, Meizu and other competitors in the segment.
A quick glance at the hardware specs sheet reveals that the Glory 4 isn’t one to be taken lightly. It sports a 720p display, a 13MP camera sensor, MediaTek’s recently launched true octa core chipset, 2GB of RAM, 16GB of storage and Android 4.2.2 with Huawei’s custom skin called Emotion UI. While there’s no word on the display size of the smartphone, we expect it to be close to 5 inches, judging by the leaked images.
It is unlikely that this smartphone would make its way outside China anytime soon, which has been the trend lately. However, we cannot rule out availability through third party retailers like Amazon in the U.S. and other parts of the world.
