The Sony Xperia Z1S has been long rumored now, but it seems like Sony is in no mood to launch the smartphone anytime soon as the leaks increase in frequency. Today we have another leak revealing what we knew about the smartphone already (mostly with regards to the size), but from slightly different angles. There’s still no disputing that this is a smaller replica of the Xperia Z1, as most of the design is pretty much the same. This leak also hints at a 3600 Yuan pricing in China, which is about $590. The source also claims that the smartphone will break cover in Q1 2014, so Sony won’t be able to capitalize on the holiday season sales.
It doesn’t make sense to keep the smartphone a secret anymore as there are no surprises left, unless Sony pulls a rabbit off its hat and unveils something spectacular. It has been rumored that Sony will unveil the smartphone by the end of November, so we remain hopeful to learn more in the coming days.
The smartphone packs a 4.3 inch 720p display, a 20.7MP Exmor RS camera, a 2.2 GHz Snapdragon 800 chipset, 2GB of RAM, a 2,300 mAh battery and Android 4.3 Jelly Bean or possibly even Android 4.4 KitKat.
