Samsung is believed to be working on quite a few tablets with one of them being the recently leaked 12.2 inch Galaxy Note. It is now being said that all these tablets will be concentrated towards 2014 as the Korean manufacturer looks to strengthen its hold in the tablet segment. Android tablets have traditionally been frowned upon, but thanks to the wide reach of Samsung Galaxy Tabs, that perception has changed somewhat. Further, the lack of availability of the Google Nexus 7 and the Amazon Kindle Fire in remote corners of the world has allowed Samsung to leverage the situation.
With the variety that Samsung currently offers(7, 8 and 10.1 inch variants), we can expect the lineup to further broaden in 2014. In addition to the 12.2 inch Galaxy Note tablet, Samsung is also rumored to be working on a 13.3 inch variant as well. While the Apple iPad continues to dominate the tablet segment, Samsung will look to make a bigger impact than it did this year. The company will reportedly ship over 40 million tablets in 2013.
