The LG G Flex is all but available now in South Korea and the company has decided to get the word going further by releasing a number of promotional materials including a video. The images however bear more significance, as they reveal the new accessories which will launch alongside the smartphone. These accessories include the standard Quick Window case, a vest case which only protects the back of the smartphone as well as a 16GB USB flash drive which is to be connected to the device using the USB on-the-go (OTG) cable.
It seems like LG is taking its flexible display handset more seriously than Samsung, which is obvious from its approach. There have been reports of LG wanting to launch the handset in the global markets as well, which has stirred up quite a lot of interest among fans. The handset features a 6 inch 720p display, a 13MP camera, a Snapdragon 800 SoC and Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean. As we saw in a video recently, the handset is also capable of flexing itself thanks to the polycarbonate body and the flexible display panel. The handset also comes with a “self healing back cover”.
