After the launch of the Moto G, we were bound to believe that the Moto X would remain an American exclusive. But a Motorola executive has now given hope for customers of the EMEA (Europe, Middle East and Africa) region regarding its launch. The Vice President of Motorola’s EMEA division said that the company has been impressed with the progress of the Moto X in the U.S. and would love to “pursue opportunities” in the EMEA region. He further said – “We are serious about Europe and we want to bring strong propositions to the market“. While this doesn’t necessarily mean that Motorola would bring the Moto X to Europe and neighboring regions immediately, it goes without saying that there is a tiny sliver of hope still left.

This also explains why Motorola launched a cheaper and low end substitute of the Moto X in the form of the Moto G. The Moto X has a lot going for it, especially in terms of software with features like Active Display and notifications which keeps the users in the loop. Thanks to a perfect blend of software and hardware features, the Moto X is easily one of the Top 5 smartphones of 2013.
