Lenovo has just announced the Vibe Z K910 1080p phablet in China with pre orders set to go live soon. The smartphone will be rolled out globally as well, but dates haven’t been disclosed yet. The phablet packs a 5.5 inch 1080p display, a Snapdragon 800 SoC, 2GB of RAM, a 13MP Sony Exmor RS camera sensor with a f/1.8 lens, dual SIM support (including LTE) and Android 4.2 with the company’s Vibe ROM. The pricing hasn’t been mentioned as of now, but given Lenovo’s popularity in the midrange segment, we don’t expect it to go heavy on the customers wallets.
Lenovo is also launching a protective case along with the smartphone including an almost replica of the Samsung S-View cover from the Galaxy S4 and the Galaxy Note 3. However, this case has a slider slot on the bottom to answer or reject calls. That’s a really nice way to differentiate the cover with the Samsung S-View case. The smartphone is a true powerhouse with all its bases covered and Lenovo will hope to make it a global success.
