Kyocera Hydro XTRM launched on MetroPCS for $169

Kyocera Hydro XTRM

The Kyocera Hydro XTRM was announced at the CTIA event earlier this year. And after making its way to U.S. Cellular, the smartphone is now available through MetroPCS as well. The prepaid carrier charges a decent $169 for the handset without contract which is quite decent for a smartphone of its caliber. Like other smartphones in the Hydro series, the Hydro XTRM too comes with a durable body and water resistance, which makes it stand out from the rest of the budget smartphone crowd. The carrier is offering a few unlimited data, text and voice plans which start from $40, so the customers have plenty to choose from.

The Kyocera Hydro XTRM packs a 1.2 GHz dual core processor, a 4 inch 480×800 resolution display, a 5MP camera on the back, 4GB of internal storage accompanied by a microSD card slot, a 2,000 mAh battery and 4G LTE on T-Mobile’s networks. The smartphone is certainly great value for money considering the hardware and price. Head over to the link below for full details on the smartphone.
