The race to release smartphones using 8-core processors is heating up as a leaked photo shows a smartphone called the Huawei G750 has been recently spotted. It is still unclear if this is the model number for the Huawei Honor 4/Glory 4 or an entirely different device. One thing is for sure though, it will be using the latest MediaTek true 8-core MT6592 processor.
Huawei G750 Technical Specifications
- Android 4.2 with Huawei’s custom Emotion UI on top
- 5.5-inch display at 720p resolution
- MediaTek 1.7 GHz octa-core MT6592
- 2 GB of RAM
- 32 GB of internal memory
- 13 megapixel rear camera
- 5 megapixel front camera
So far these are the only specs that have been leaked. This device is also reportedly going to be available on China’s big three networks namely China Mobile, China Unicom, and China Telecom.
Although the device has a 5.5 inch display it only has a 720p resolution which is somewhat outdated compared to the full HD resolution that is being used by most Chinese smartphones today.
Perhaps the strongest feature of this device is its use of MediaTek’s 8-core MT6592 processor. This is the first processor that is able to use all 8-cores at once providing users with maximum performance.
Since this isn’t an official announcement everything must be taken with a grain of salt.
