It is well within the public domain by now that HTC is planning to launch a successor to the HTC One in early 2014. However, renowned Twitter leak source Evleaks has now detailed the launch of this upcoming flagship, at least for the American markets. According to this leakster, the smartphone will make its way to the region on all four major carriers and not only AT&T as it had earlier mentioned. The smartphone will apparently break cover in Q1 2014, which means we can expect an announcement around February 2014 similar to the HTC One announcement earlier this year. The MWC 2014 event takes place in late February which might be a perfect stage for the Taiwanese manufacturer to showcase its newest Android flagship.
Earlier this week, we saw purported back panels of this flagship leak out, revealing a removable back cover unlike what we’ve come to expect from the current crop of HTC flagships (barring the HTC One Max). So it certainly feels like some major changes are in tow with the HTC M8 or whatever HTC decides to call this handset.
