The Verizon variant of the now forgotten Samsung Galaxy S III Mini has just been spotted on Samsung’s site, hinting at an imminent arrival. The smartphone is a bit late to arrive in the scene, especially since the Galaxy S4 Mini is already available. So we guess Verizon will offer the smartphone for free, which is only fair since the Galaxy S4 Mini is being sold for free on many carriers. The Galaxy S III Mini is basically a smaller and underpowered version of the Galaxy S III from last year, so don’t expect a hardware powerhouse here.
The specs sheet reveals a 4 inch 480×800 resolution display, a 5MP camera on the back, a 1 GHz dual core ARM Cortex-A9 processor, Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean, 1GB of RAM, 8GB of internal storage with a microSD card slot and a 1,500 mAh battery. What makes the smartphone slightly better is the fact that it runs Verizon’s 4G LTE networks, but besides that, the smartphone has nothing going for it.
